Approach
How we take a product from idea to production
A simple process, written down, so you know what happens at each stage and what you will have at the end of it.
Process
Five stages, each with a clear result
- 01
Discover
We talk through your goals, users, constraints and existing systems, and look at what you already have.
You getA shared understanding of the problem and a recommended scope
- 02
Plan
We turn the scope into a delivery plan: architecture, milestones, team, risks and cost.
You getA written proposal with timeline and price
- 03
Design
We design the experience and interface, walk through the real flows with you, and agree them before heavy engineering starts.
You getClickable designs and a component library
- 04
Build
We build in short cycles, with tests and automated deployments from the start and a demo at the end of each cycle.
You getWorking software you can use after every cycle
- 05
Launch and run
We release, monitor and tune the product, then either hand it over with documentation or keep running it with you.
You getA live product, documentation and a support plan
Engagement models
Four ways to work with us
Choose the one that matches how well defined the work is and how much of a team you already have.
Fixed-scope project
We agree the scope, timeline and price up front and deliver against them. Changes go through a simple, written change process.
Best forA defined product, MVP or redesign with clear requirements
Dedicated team
A standing team of designers and engineers works only on your product, month to month, on a roadmap you prioritise.
Best forAn evolving product that needs continuous delivery
Co-engineering
Our engineers work alongside yours in the same repositories, reviews and planning, sharing ownership of what gets built.
Best forTeams that need capacity or specialist skills without handing the product over
Support and maintenance
We keep a live product healthy: monitoring, fixes, upgrades, security patches and small improvements, on an ongoing basis.
Best forProducts that are live and need reliable upkeep
Principles
What we hold ourselves to
- 01
Clarity before code
We write down what we are building and why before we build it. Most expensive mistakes start as misunderstandings.
- 02
Simple first
We choose the plainest design that solves the problem and add complexity only when the product needs it.
- 03
Tested and observable
Automated tests and monitoring ship with every feature, so problems are found by us and not by your customers.
- 04
Secure by default
Access control, secrets handling and dependency updates are built in from the start, not bolted on.
- 05
Honest communication
You hear about risks and delays as soon as we see them, along with what we suggest doing about them.
- 06
No lock-in
Your code, your accounts, your documentation. We earn the next project by doing this one well.
Questions
Common questions
What kinds of projects do you take on?
We build web applications, mobile apps, backend systems, cloud infrastructure and AI features, and we design the products they belong to. Projects range from a first version for a new company to extending or rebuilding an established product.
How do we start?
Send us a few lines about what you want to build. We reply by email, arrange a short call, and follow up with a written proposal.
How do you price work?
It depends on the engagement model. Fixed-scope projects have an agreed price. Dedicated teams, co-engineering and support are billed on an ongoing basis. Every proposal sets out the cost in writing before work starts.
Who owns the code?
You do. Code, designs and documentation are yours, and wherever possible we work in repositories and cloud accounts that you control.
How do you work across time zones?
We are based in India and work with clients worldwide. We agree overlapping working hours at the start, keep written updates as the default, and schedule calls and demos at times that suit you.
Can you work with our existing team?
Yes. In a co-engineering engagement our engineers join your repositories, reviews and planning, and share ownership of the work with your team.
Can you take over an existing product?
Yes. We start with a review of the code, infrastructure and documentation, tell you what we found, and agree a plan before changing anything.
What happens after launch?
We can hand the product over with documentation, or keep running it under a support and maintenance agreement covering monitoring, fixes, upgrades and small improvements.
Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes. We are happy to sign one before you share details of your project.
How do you keep us informed?
You get a demo at the end of every cycle, regular written updates, and direct access to the people doing the work.
Ideas Engineered At Scale
Have something to build?
Tell us what you are working on. We will reply with questions, not a sales pitch.
